Future Financial
Future Financial is a publication for financial publishers navigating digital transformation, built to learn from the people who have already been through it. It is also a demonstration: the content is authored and delivered through EidosMedia’s own platform.

Context
Digital media technologies are bringing unprecedented flexibility and efficiency to how high-value content is created and delivered, and some financial publishers are already transforming their operations on new-generation platforms like EidosMedia’s Méthode. Future Financial exists so the ones who have not yet started can learn from those with first-hand experience of the process.
That gives the design an unusually clear brief. The audience is senior people in publishing organisations, the content is long-form and argument-led, and the job of the interface is to get out of the way of the reading while still signalling that this is a considered publication rather than a marketing brochure.
What I did
Working in the team on design concept, UX and UI, then development support with the HTML implementation, delivered as templates for the proprietary CMS.
The interesting part is the loop. The publication argues for digital transformation in financial publishing, and it is itself produced on the platform that makes that transformation possible: authored once, previewed for print and web side by side, delivered to both. Designing it meant designing inside the constraints the argument was about, which is the most honest test a claim like that can get.
